How would you make sure the next employer file the green card for you right away? Do you ask this to be put on offer letter? (Have an approved I-140)

Is it typical for UK companies not to cover the cost of visa sponsorship and to assume that the international applicant knows that they will have to fund the process themselves without telling them?

Are initial law firm consultations usually free? I’m on H1B and wanted to schedule an initial consultation with an immigration lawyer to discuss some GC options (outside of employment based) and was told I’d have to pay $200 for a consultation (45 mins session).

Am I being cheap for not wanting to pay that or are there firms out there that offer free consultations?

I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? Does EY withdraw approved I-140 after leaving the firm, particularly if it's within 180 days? Our immigration policy says "The firm will withdraw sponsorship upon termination" but kinda vague and I wonder what the real life cases be like? Thanks!
