I accidentally saw a coworker’s production numbers, and they are half of mine. The kicker is that we have the exact same title and, from what I’ve heard, the same base salary. It’s hard to stay motivated and be a team player when I know I’m carrying the literal weight of the department. Should I bring this data to my annual review?

Don't worry about a coworker's compensation. Just work on yours. This is one of the few jobs where you can give yourself a raise every year or everyday. However, if you work at a traditional employee firm, they can and WILL move the goalposts. I wish that I went independent 10 years earlier than when I actually did.

At an employee firm, which I suspect is where you're at; your coworker is probably a brown-noser who has it so far up your branch manager's butt, that he comes up to breathe at the end of the day. And...who gives a crap about a stupid title? Go indy and you can call yourself a VP or whatever if you like and there won't be a "boss" that is sucking the life out of you. All salaried managers are (in the big scheme of things) worthless to the commissioned advisor. Prove me wrong?

Started talking to this guy through group a group telegram and one day he offered to pay for my lunch as I had helped him out with something. Since then he has been offering to pay for my dinners, salon visits, shopping etc and I have accepted 3-4 times. I am in a steady relationship and my boyfriend doesn’t know about this. The other guy just says he likes paying for my stuff and there’s no agenda. Is this a little weird?

Please, I need your opinion on this. I have 6 years of experience as a software developer and just finished my masters degree in data science. Now I am looking for a job here in the US. I went through the hiring process with this company and finally got an offer. They offered 88k/year and I responded opening a negotiation. They emailed me back saying that I am no longer in this process anymore with no further explanation and in Thanksgiving day. Is that normal?that email really got me very upset
