The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?

I'm 62 and retired after over 40 years of trucking. At 15 you can't expect to get many offers. First, you really have no experience doing anything. There are "teenager first jobs" out there but remember...there's more teenagers than there are jobs for them. I know it's discouraging but, trust me, right now is the best time of your life...enjoy it...be a kid. A lifelong relationship with work and responsibilities is definitely coming.
Fast food places are Always hiring. Just a thought and the pay I think has been raised to 15.00 I believe at McDonald’s. Some soup is better than no soup! 🙏🏻
Call the American Red Cross, and ask if they have life guard certificate programs. It shows that you’re willing to get training. Being a lifeguard has “real” life responsibility. HOAs (Homeowners Associations), water parks, city pools, private lakes. It will allow you to meet people, that will recognize your hard work, and might know of other opportunities. Nursery / Garden Centers, Car washes, pet stores, movie theaters, then there’s fast food. Don’t give up. 🤞🍀
I been applying also no reply from these jobs
I can understand that I’m 25 trying to stay close to family just trying to make it out here. I’ve got a lot of different things on my résumé. Been trying to use parts and pieces of my résumé just to find a job. It’s been rough to find a job where I’m at. But lately it felt like I’ve been jumping job to job more than anything and all I want is a stable job so I can help out with bills and things that I’m supposed to be helping with but all I can tell myself is to keep applying and hopefully I get a job . It might not be a job that aligns with my career path but if it’s a stable job and it gets me in a better position and gets me off the path of jumping job the job that would be a good job
When you have little or no experience, networking and connections are going to get you very far. Is there anyone you can think of that can recommend you to a job? Maybe there’s an opening where one of your friends works?
How are you working at 15? I thought you needed to be 16 to work? Forgive me for the question but I don’t have kids.
If there are any golf courses that use caddying I would suggest applying there. My son has been caddying at a local country club since age 14. No salary, all tips, all cash. Starting out it can be rough, walking 18 holes can mean 4-5 miles a day. A single "loop" might only earn you $50 at first but a season or two in and you could be pulling $150 for 5 hours and getting 4-5 loops a week. You're also outside and getting great exercise.
No, I'm not a member. I couldn't afford it.
No, he didn't know anyone at the CC.
Yes, it's hard work.
The rates are not guaranteed.
It teaches you how to talk with older adults.
It teaches you how to network. He keeps a journal of all his loops with golfer names.
Good luck with your job hunting.DONT give up. As for anxiety, I would try and stay off your cell phone or any electronics as much as you can during your day.
The first thing that came to mind was, what kind of things have you posted on social media?
No offense was intended. I just know that many people, whether teenagers or adults, post things that prospective employers see and it keeps them from getting hired.
If you live in Cranston go to Sundae they maybe hiring

Start your own business, mowing lawns, doing yard work totally tax free. Not only will you be making money but the connections can and are priceless.
The people you meet kids are priceless. Start your own business. Easy at first, yard work such as mowing a lawn, or basic yard work. Easy to get started mostly tax free. To start it only takes one person. Do a good job and that one person will tell their friends. Pretty soon you have a network of peeps that are most likely successful and will be more than willing to tell you how they did it. If you’re willing to listen and while earning an income while listening and learning the whole time. It’s a proverbial seed. Not one successful person on this planet didn’t take advice and learned from people that have already done it. I hope that helps. Best wishes for you all.

Your 15 take your time
Ask you friends where they are working. Ask if they will put in a good word for you. Nothing wrong with asking for help.
