I am 24, just started my career in Spain as GNC/AOCS engineer. One of my biggest dream would be to work in USA, given higher salaries and more opportunities.
How many YOE should I have before trying to apply? Is it so difficult for an European? Are there any disadvantages I'm overlooking?

After 4 months of casually applying and 3 months of dedicated searching after work hours, 130+ applications, 5 recruiter screens and 3 final rounds later... finally found an exit!!! You can all do it - I believe in you all!

Wondering if anyone can share the approximate timeline after applying to Target Corp. to hearing something from them. Applied 9/1 and on the applicant portal the status still says “in progress.” I got a great internal referral, but I’ve not reached out to the hiring manager. 😬 I know there were a few hundred applicants — what’s a realistic timeline and what could I say to the hiring manager if I reach out to them.
