If a sentence can be shorter, do it. The more text, the less attention each word gets. Keep it concise.
Avoid using jargon or complex language that may alienate readers, get to the point without rambling on, and use active verbs - this will help to create a more energetic tone.
Write as if you were speaking to a friend, using a casual, conversational tone. This will make your readers feel more comfortable and likely to stick around until the end. Don't use any verbage that's overly complicated, people will get bored easily.
Use strong, active verbs and interesting adjectives to engage your readers. Don't be afraid to be bold and take risks with your writing style. You never know how to catch people until you try it.

Read it out loud over and over, when the writing isn't crisp it won't sound that good either
