I am highly experienced as a Short Sale Realtor for 16 years, Life and Health Insurance Agent for 8 years, customer Service at Walt Disney World in the office 3 years. Ran my husbands Roofing Business for 9 years, payroll, contract writing, estimating, and more. Sales, Customer Service roles for 40 years. I just turned 60, and I don't want to retire at all, I want a Work at home Remote position at about $20 an hour. Help

Guilt and shame about working in a legal position for years where, instead of using my law degree (was supposed to do legal work per the job posting), I served as a personal assistant to my boss/did nothing for maybe half the time. I feel like I was paid for work I didn't do. I've since left that job but the guilt and shame remains. I feel that I lack the character of a lawyer and that I am unworthy of the profession. I don't know how to make up for the lost years or how to forgive myself.

How to evaluate an offer at startup? 190k total base bonus and equity (roughly 80k). Non-tech position, 2.5 years out of college. Should i ask for higher base?

Intl Tax folks, how long did it take before you were confident in your role? I've worked for the past 3 years in a practice that is heavily consulting based (inbound and outbound structuring) and I feel like I'm only just starting to understand the foundational concepts (where I can explain them clearly to clients) and offering a shred of value. Then I'll have calls where partners discuss complex tax, legal, treasury and other related concepts that all go over my head.. it becomes overwhelming
