I am in MCA First Year (Sem 2) and want to prepare for on-campus placements. Companies like Deloitte and Asian Paints visit our campus.

I am not very interested in coding, so I would like to know which roles require less coding and how to prepare for aptitude and interviews. I also have less than 60% in 12th and a 3-year gap, so I am worried about how it may affect placements.

Also, is DSA required for every role or only for developer roles?

Any firms have a focus on Aerospace and Defense industries? Headhunters always reach out about tech and healthcare firms (as well as more generalist ones), which are great but I’m just not that interested. Only find a few with significant A&D exposure.

So I had an interview in early September and a second interview almost 2 weeks ago. I received an email with an update last week, essentially saying that the interview went well and they would follow up with me. It’s been about a week. Should I follow up? If so, any advice on how to write that email?

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

As of late, my work related anxiety has reached new levels and it’s really starting to affect me mentally. I’m part of a great team; I’m trusted and supported, have a great track record, there are no issues, and have been no incidents. Regardless, my professional self perception and confidence is so rattled as of late, it’s almost like a paralysis at times. I realize there are much larger problems right now, but if anyone has any tips or advice to get over this, I am all ears. Thanks all!
