Pick one aspect that you feel is most important to fix, and focus there first. EAP/counseling can be tremendously helpful - whether it's marriage counseling, stress/anxiety management, work/life balance. Don't know where to start? Try journaling, meditation, or taking a walk to clear your head. Even a small first step will help things feel less out of control. When you're juggling a hundred balls, something will drop. Try to be intentional about what that is, so you don't drop what you care about most. ❤️
This is great advice! If you look at everything it might seem overwhelming but if you choose one or two things at a time it’s much more manageable. Be kind to yourself
You are doing absolutely fine these are temporary tensions you have been so far just take a moment for yourself go for some Moroccan bath or do something that makes you happy
Take a breath and create a manageable to-do list. Most of us aren’t in life-saving careers so what seems so urgent can use the contingency to be completed. If you need help, ask at work, at home, etc.
Have a peaceful home can help you feel more at ease in other things. Does your relationship need a reset with an unbiased party. Are the two of you willing to work through things together? Marriage is hard, there will be peaks and valleys. If you want things to be better, I do hope they turn the corner. 💕
Hi OP, sorry that you are going through this. I know the feeling. If possible, please take a break… work, relationships - everything is peripheral to your health.
During a discussion this evening regarding my employment he told me he wants a divorce. I am gutted. He seems fairly certain and confident of that decision. I am now shattered. Not sure there is a path back. 19 years. I am just lost and my soul is just so tired.
Wish that I did. We just moved across the country. No family, no friends. Thanks for thinking of me.
