1. Network.
2. Find health tech listservs.
3. Contact the Deloitte health tech practice managers.
4. Your firm probably also has an internal knowledge database. Look for health tech documents and contact the authors.

Any reason to sign up for the company health insurance? Our family has Tricare under my active-duty spouse. I work in insurance defense and we are getting slammed as far as workload and have been for some time. It’s nice because I haven’t had to beg for billable work and always hit my goals. My question is whether this has been the norm at other insurance defense firms. My other question is how other states are dealing with COVID restrictions on jury trials. Has anyone tried anything during the pandemic?

Hi everyone,
So I’ve always had a rough time trying to find what role titles I would be a good fit to apply to given that my career growth has been so peculiar (HR assistant at hotel, Operations Manager at hotel, seller support at Amazon, customer experience coordinator at an IT company, talent acquisition specialist at a health org)
In those roles I normally took more in my plate than the typical role requires (hr functions, data analysis, etc)
With 6-7 years if exp what role should I look?

Work full time but have a passion to break into financial services <on the side for now> to gain exposure, mentorship and skills. Not sure how to do that. Truly interested in the wealth management side, not life insurance solely. Tried that and all they cared about was “recruiting more agents”. Not for me as my priority right now is mentorship and learning. Currently life licensed and studying for SIE. Any recommendations?

In competent hiring panel in EY.

Pathetic interview experience with EY. The HR was quite helpful but the panelist was rude and impatient.

It seemed like he had mugged up some answers and expected me to respond the same word by word definition.

In fact, when I explained her a concept she was like - I don't want to listen the technical logic or perspective, give me a non technical explanation as if a kid can understand.

Feedback shared by her: "Candidate lacks technical knowledge"

Wow!!!

FTM due in Nov. My parents are planning to come visit from overseas to help once the baby is born, but honestly I don’t have the best relationship with my mother. Fortunately my parents in law (with whom I am quite close with) are offering to help post birth and I’d rather go stay at their place & get help from them rather than from my mom. How do I gently tell my mom about this without upsetting her? I feel like I’m being a bad daughter but I want to avoid as much stress as possible post birth.

I'm tired of seeing ppl everywhere online push for cash tips and shame ppl who just tip with their bill on CC. I get they want cash because they get it right away and dodge taxes but guess what? Most people don't get their paychecks on a daily basis either and also have to pay taxes on them! This isn't a special circumstance. If i have it on me I'll use it but I'm also under 70 so I'm not carrying cash with me unless i just had a birthday lmao
