I’m in a somewhat similar situation. From time to time, I go to a library or a cafe shop for a few hours. It helps me relax and actually boosts my productivity.
Aside from that, setting ‘focus time’ can really help. For example, motivating yourself by saying for the next hour, I’ll focus on this task and nothing else
I try to compartmentalize and turn off my "home" brain when I'm at work. This includes turning off my phone and not being available to anything happening at home. It's about setting boundaries, and it's difficult but important.

I understand the logic, but full compartmentalising feels unrealistic for me right now. Home does not switch off just because I am at work. I am trying to find boundaries that protect me without pretending the rest does not exist.

If that can be resolved by effort and time. Take some time off. And work towards the challenge at home.
You will be amazed by the aftermath, even if it doesn't resolve fully.

Time off feels like the most sensible advice, even if it feels hard to step away. I keep hoping effort alone will fix things, but I may need space first to think clearly and reset properly.
Jesus, to be honest.
Most workplaces I’ve experienced will not support the version of you that’s inconvenient. Therapy and supportive friends will help. Process safely and separately. Do not trust your work to put you first. It will only add tension.
Put an 45min meeting on your calendar everyday for rest & recovery in the middle of your workday. Take yourself through the 9-Breathe exercise and settle your mind. If home life continues to creep in , use that 45min to make a list of prioritization for home items. For example if your spouse is weighing on your mind, put that on your list and setup time in the evening to share a homemade dinner. Do the same for others in your life.
Can you get more specific about the issues? I know one of mine was having the rest of the household understand that I am, in fact, working and cannot be responsible any more or less for chores around the house just because I am home.
I’m so sorry to hear that. And apologies for misreading it as more of a WFH struggle. Separating personal and professional life, wherever you work, is really hard. If you’re able to take a couple of days off or even just disconnect when you can, that might help. You’re absolutely allowed to feel how you feel, just do your best, and that’s all any of us can do.
Do something you enjoy and get your mind off of the stress. It's okay for a break to reset. Good luck
A healthy domestic environment is key to your professional performance. These fickled times and our current administration is not helping either. There are assortment of deverse situations that can exist at "home". Give it a name right.. I have been there, dark and hopeless on all levels. At one point I even considered throwing my great job away. I went back to my old neighborhood to my Baptism church one evening. Slopping in the pew, Eyes watering. A vision appeared to my closed eyes of our Blessed Mother. Honest.. That day on I have given myself to our Lord God, bringing in my family too. I myself have experienced such amazing miracles and peace these last 8 years. Let the power of prayer help you.
