I applied for a job that asked for my salary requirements. It's an entry-level position in social media at a company that employs remotely and that normally pays the same rate across regions. I asked for $20-$25/hour and now I'm wondering if that's not too much since it would be 4 times the min. wage where I live. I did say however that I was open to discussing the salary. Even $10/hour would have been great and I just asked this rate after researching what they normally pay, now i feel stupid

If you make it to senior manager at big four can you leave and become partner or director at mid size firm? Is this hard to do? Recently got an offer for salesforce sales strategy (105K TC) vs Morgan Stanley IB Strategy (135K TC). Salesforce will be 40-50 hours a week remote until 2022 and then will have a hybrid working model, most likely going in office 2-3 times a week vs Morgan Stanley will be on average 60 hours a week in office full time. Is it worth the 30K extra in compensation to commute to office daily + 10-20 more hours per week? In terms of pay progression, I think Morgan Stanley will definitely be a lot fast

I started QA at the company I am currently at 3 years ago. Long story short, within 4 months at the company, I was able to make a career change and step into a PM position. Without having the formal education or PM experience, only my 5 years in QA experience. When I started I made $65k and have jumped to $78k. I have seen other companies post $100k+. Annual review is tomorrow. Should I fight for more or look for more somewhere else if I lose that fight?

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year.
