My wife has her joining date extended from Randstad and no joining date has been provided. What are the chances of her offer getting revoked. She has around 1 year of experience in HR. She got to know about this just on the last day of her notice period. She doesnt have any other offer as she didnt expect the joining date to get extended. Randstad. Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂
Will IBM revise offer after accepting it ?

Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase? Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?

Do your research on salaries for PMs with your level of experience. Have a number in mind and ask for it. Also, it doesn't hurt to look elsewhere. Know your worth and don't accept any less!
The word fight is way too familiar- go somewhere that you don’t have to fight where they have the budget. This business will always see you as the up for anything grateful for the experience kind of worker.
Go take your marketable skills to market and make a leap to change your life. I just went from 60 to 72, then was recently thrown 85 and was going to take on alot more- I took my skills to market and took home 119K base within three months of passive hunting, with a company I was in much better alignment with. Thank them for the experience / opportunity once you sign a great deal elsewhere, but stop working for the experience- you add tremendous value even without a degree (I don’t have one either, though I would like to one day)
Good luck and well done. Look up the red talk about the silver spoon and the scrapper, from one scrapper to another! 🥊

Annnddd this is exactly how you should do it.
Check out the market & industry to find out what others are making - interview & see what other companies are willing to give you.
Similar story - I became a PM, started at 80, then shifted teams 85, then 89, then I got an offer at 95, and another at 105k. I took the 105k+ bonus. I’m definitely underpaid but it was a $16k swing.
Look for somewhere else if u lose fight. Also did you become PM after 5 uears of QA experience ? Or 4 months ?? Also it says 3 years in a company so not sure about your timeline of becoming a PM from a QA.
Yeah. I wouldn’t be ‘quick to leave’ if you don’t get it right away. I Told my manager I was under paid and wanted more. It took them a year to get me what I considered a substantial raise (this includes another merit raise in the middle which was ‘higher’ than I had been getting but not large)and my salary has only skyrocketed since. More money with a terrible boss isn’t worth it. So if you like your job I’d at least give them some time after you say I need more unless they just say no. In large corporations it can take a minute to get approvals. If we really are heading for a recession. I wouldn’t want to be one of the new hires.
