That’s beyond frustrating, especially when you see others getting away with way more. Sounds like they were looking for an excuse to push you out. Keep pushing on the job search, 20 apps is a lot, but I feel like it takes a lot more than that. Maybe try networking or reaching out to hiring managers directly. Good luck!
It sounds like someone had it out for you, and the ones who are still there after getting twice as many points, are the 'favorites'.
Applying for 20 jobs is a drop in the bucket these days. A lot are fake job postings, some postings are there because the companies are already hiring from within and are required to post with no intention of giving someone outside a chance....the rest? You're competing with 100's of other applicants. Do your best to Network. Apply and follow up. Make sure your resume is ATS friendly and use something like ChatGPT to help tweak it for the job you're applying to. Good luck!
They have their favorites in all professions...
Sounds like Walmart
This is one of the worst times to be looking for a new job because the job market is so bad. I would definitely recommend looking on Indeed or Linked in to see what all you can find on there.
Bro that's the least I applied for at least 150 jobs between last year November and today March 27th and still haven't gotten a job as yet. I did nothing wrong at any of my jobs.
I actually never did but thanks I think I am gonna try that next.

Hello my advice would be not to mention any point system or what the other members did or did not do, value your accomplishment, you was let get because of the numbers use the metrica last hired first to be released, sounds alot better good luck never look back
If you can prove it, then I suggest you retain legal counsel. But you have to be able to prove that other employees were not in compliance. If you could prove the facts that you're stating with regards to other people being penalized more than you and still retaining their positions, then you could very well have a lawsuit. However, if you cannot prove it then I suggest you keep looking.
Yea man thats sucks i've been applying to jobs for the longest and getting no replies, and its sucks since I'm young and just trying to get my feet wet
Try applying to a retail store. Every store has a maintenance worker. Target calls it a PML.
That sounds like many situations I’ve been in.
It’s difficult to say more given the lack of context and your run on sentence… which leads me to believe you haven’t thought this out properly.
Know your value and be able to articulate it.
Stay focused and good luck.
The points system is a way to keep costs down.
It ensures no employee can use PTO to their own advantage.
It also keeps them in full stock of temporary and seasonal employees who are not eligible for benefits!
Honestly most places dont want maintenance anymore or to pay they want chef and sous chefs that can fix well put bandaid on their problems. You understand shit they dont have to pay for. But as I always tell them you get what you paying for.
