I attended for an interview at DBS. I was selected and then there was a HR discussion where I mentioned my salary expectations. Later they asked me to send educational credentials, pay slips and other stuff.

Now, when I try to call the HR she said that I will not be happy with the role as the pay is less than expected. She also said she is trying to push my profile for higher pay grade.

Can I expect an offer?

Is anyone familiar with post IB exit into something like IR? Still new to the game and other than PE (due to the herd mentality), I don’t know much about other exits for better work/life balance. If anyone has insight on type of work, recruiting process, and comp it would be super appreciated. TIA

Deloitte USI is offering me 15LPA fixed and 1lack joining bonus and HCL offering me 23LPA fixed. I've tried to negotiate with deloitte but they are not ready to negotiate and asking me to join on the same CTC which was initially provided. I'm confused to select the company. What’s the base for CL8 (CDO)? Glassdoor doesn’t seem accurate, as it pegs CL8 at 56k. Currently a CL9, on 52.5 in London. Promoted from CL10 last year too, so still a fairly new CL9.

I work 2 part-time jobs. I just requested a pay raise at my ABA job which they approved on by 10%. My other job is in Mental Health has a flat rate with no chance to request a raise, turns out I'm not required to work the full 20hrs/Week meaning that when there's no work to complete I won't be getting paid.
