i bought a home few months ago and inherited home warranty contract (with american home shield) that the prior owner had (the prior owner bought and sold less within a year). the contract is expiring this month and i dont think i will be renewing with them due to poor value/customer service. however, i do want to try home warranty with other vendors. my question is 1) can i procure another home warranty contract with a new vendor 2) any recs for vendors out there (for plumbing and appliances)?
