You've got a good point. A good manager would just do that on their own. First of all, a sick person shouldn't have to deal with it. And secondly, you want to make sure it's done and there won't be any problems in the morning. They should just do it.
That's why I am just going to ignore it and focus on getting better. They sent me home sick a day ago, they are well aware of my condition (and how it is affecting my asthma).
I would lose my mind in your shoes. That's literally what a manager's job is: to manage things LIKE STAFFING to make sure work gets done on time. That shouldn't be your responsibility. Good for you for putting on DND, they can figure it out. Hope you get feeling better.
Thank you! I got a doctor's note today and I am not to be back until Tuesday. Manager found coverage in less than ten mins, that would have taken me hours of texting people. I told her my doctor wasn't happy that a sick person is expected to do a job that belongs to management and she left me on read 😂😂
Some managers really hate managing, don't they? You need to be focused on rest and getting better, not work stress.
