Does anyone have leads for a recent MPH Epidemiology grad with 0-2 YOE to get into consultant roles in Healthcare/life sciences?

Second question: what sort of work experiences are companies like flatiron and komodo health looking for to work in RWE/heor? I'm not sure how to leverage Epidemiology to get into that space :(

I’m not at those companies but have been in the space for a bit. Strengthen your programming skills in SAS, SQL or R. Learn how to work with big data- meaning, understand how to check your programming is correct and how to automate tables, graphs and figures with minimal manual adjustments. Being a good communicator, and being able to understand research questions and how / which data will provide the answers. Basic stats will go a long way, but before interviews suggest you brush up on study designs, prevalence, survival, time to event concepts. Epidemiology is a great fit for this field if you arm yourself with programming. Also suggest looking into Genesis Research. Good luck!

My current job is going to let us pick something, and while my answer would be to go to DEFCON 😂 that’s obviously not gonna happen this year.

Generally curious how many companies offer phone reimbursement? My last gig did not but the current one does. Legally it seems, all employers are required to do so if we use our phone in literally any capacity (video call, slack, teams, emails etc). How prevalent is the issue of not reimbursing phone dues?

Hi fellow PE fishes, seeking career advice.
Currently in an APAC based LMM/MM PE focusing on tech and had joined the firm straight out of school. I intend on sticking to PE long term, but am curious about my career and financial trajectory in 3 cases.

1) stick to my current firm and eventually make partner

2) go for a Master’s degree and then move to an UMM/MF PE or MBB -> UMM/MF

3) Stay in the current firm and start my own fund with other Associates in the future.

Hi everyone! I need your help here. A quick background:

Junior copywriter based in Toronto here. Came to Canada about a year ago and did an internship at Klick Health.

Once it ended in late August, they didn't take on ANY intern full time. Been job searching for the past 3 months. Would really appreciate any leads/insight on some entry level gig or internship that might be available in this city. I know it's year end and it's hard, but I am still hopeful as I have seen people still get hired.

Thoughts...10+ years practical/management experience in/around legal field in FL (includes state government, in-house non-profit, civil practice, etc.). Two years ago took a job to relocate closer to where I want to be...but not sure if being valued and compensated appropriately. It’s a smaller firm, salary $75k, not too much in way of bonuses so maybe $5k, but always step up to plate with assisting management as leader for operational contributions and I meet annual revenue goals around $300k.

I love the position and what it entails, but was hoping to reach $150-$160 base salary. If offered the position, is this a reasonable ask? This is for big pharma, data analytics in New England.
