Hello, I am going crazy. I am supposed to close on a house on Tuesday. The buyer did not perform an inspection and the lender did not order an appraisal. The lawyer says that everything is good on her hand but I am not sure if she is the deciding factor here. Can a home close without a physical appraisal ? Question on generalist vs specialist path to becoming a CXO at a tech company!! I am in mid-40s, work for FAANG at senior level in sales role with a TC of $500K. Not a VP or CXO yet, and that's where I want to go as the next step in my career. Over the past 25 years, did sales (10-12yrs), delivery(5-8yrs), Strategy & ops (1yrs), and Product mgmt. (1-2yrs).
