I got 4 YOE , in Infosys as Specialist Programmer Java full stack. I interviewed with Morgan Stanley Mumbai for Associate role, cracked 4 rounds of tech interview with VP, ED and they went really well. Now the Resourcing Partner is saying they will offer 30% hike and give fixed pay of 15 lpa, current is 12 lpa. I tried negotiating, the RP says if you don't accept I have others willing to join. I said I am looking for 18 lpa atleast to which I was told it will take 5 days to discuss. Pls suggest

Does anyone have any tips on virtual interviews and how to gauge the culture of the firm and if it really will be a good fit for you? I’m struggling to figure out that out because I used to gauge it on the feeling I got while in their office during interviews. Any suggestions would be helpful :)

I’m a new patent prosecution associate and unfortunately only just now realized that maybe prosecuting patents isn’t something I want to do long term. I loved copyright (and trademark) in law school, but I have loans to pay off. I had call with the HR for he position based out of Mumbai everything in interview and they are ready to share the offer. however, I quoted for 10 lakhs and they said for fixed pay of 8.75.
Although, i checked on Google as well average pay they are giving is 9.7 lakh
So should I accept the offer as per their negotiation or shall positively tell them why 10 lakh is justified?

I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.
