Hi All,
I joined Tech Mahindra for 5 days only and didn't find suitable timing for my project and emailed resignation mail to manager and HR. After that HR asked me to resign over portal but at the same time blocked my portal. After requesting many times they didn't unblock my portal and pretended like they want to unblock but there is some issue going on and marked my profile absconded. I have cleared fnf but they are not providing reliving letter but added pf amount also. What to do?

Surprisingly, indeed I’ve gotten hits on just cold applies more than LinkedIn. I’ve also used Otta. My main interviews connections have come
From networking.
I was laid off in late Feb. Summer was slow and finally things got better after I made some changes in linked in and did things like change my industry type inside the profile (invisible to the outside) which keeps your profile circulating. Surprisingly I subscribe ribed to theladders and used some of their ats friendly resume tools, amd that have me a big boost. But as some people here have said, sometimes it'll be slow and take a while, but it's all about being out there and ready when rhe opportunity arises. Best of luck.
Great tips! Can you provide a few more details about how theladders helped? Did it just reformat your resume, or was there something more to it that helped? Thanks!

OP, those really are rookie numbers for PM domain, all in, I applied to over 800 roles between September and January - I went way below my salary reqs and title drops for product manager, product owner, program manager, scrum master, agile coach. More in line with what I should be targeting - sr product manager, group product manager, principal product manager, director of product, and head of product saw very little traction. Companies are very critical and picky these days, the pendulum has swung back into the corner of the employer, as opposed to 2021-2022 where employees had leverage.
You’ll need to mentally calibrate for what is to come this winter / spring. Dig in, find outlets, upskill/upskill/upskill, prepare for the worst - when reality aligns it won’t be so painful. Find support in online forums, communities, podcasts, webinars, etc… if you have the funds consider CSM, CSPO, Six Sigma Green Belt certs - these may help you land non Product specific roles.
Look into Product School free certs, if you have big bucks to spend take a PLC or PMC course - it’s good foundation material, but it is a lot to take in - do the part time courses, don’t cram with the PLC/PMC stuff - absorb overtime.
Use multiple monitors when you do interviews, pull up your notes/ reference materials.
If you need to harden your tech skills, look into Edureka courses (very practical and hands on).
Join meetup groups or start your own (product, agile, AI, tech, etc)
For job posting forums / boards - Look into Jobot, Dice, Monster, ZipRecruiter, Glassdoor, ask chatgpt to give a list of top 50 headhunter / recruiter agencies and reach out to them, wellfound (startups), Y combinator, BuiltIn.

Also, if you find a role that might have some traction, give yourself at least a day between feedback from HR or recruiter and the next round, then do some light work samples with the company / market / product / customer - audience. This way you can pull it up for reference during the interview or send it as an attachment with your follow up email. Lean into ChatGPT for this stuff. Create cheat sheets, and tape print outs with PM / Eng / Leadership stuff on the wall behind your monitors / tape paper onto the sides of your laptop screen with notes and bullets, the more info you can access during interviews the better. Like Brian Maricks 4 testing quadrants or all types of testing (~14), metrics / KPIs, frameworks, detailed execution strategies, etc… make flash cards and drill them while walking, and most importantly visualize the flow and the success. I imagine a ski jumper sticking the take off and landing during the Olympics - arms out gliding down the big ramp, and the bent knee landing, just beautiful precision and balance. Also if you’re nervous or anxious about interviews, talk to a doc and get some beta blockers.
