I had given interview with google almost 1 month back and 2 weeks later got a mail to collect some information about me like college grades, promotions in past , references in google etc. I have not heard back after that and hr is also not responding. Any guidance if I will hear back at all or shall I stop waiting?Google
I attended an interview and did assignment for Multimedia designer role 15 days ago fo BMC team at EY GDS, still not heard back, interview was positive and assignment is also good. HR's don't reply to email and don't pick calls, should I keep hope or forgot it? I'm just asking for feedback because I have put 6 hours hard work in to assignment.

Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

I wouldn’t want to jinx you but this sounds positive. It sounds like they wanted to see if you had any hesitations or reservations about the role, team, or firm. Likely they’ve already gotten what they need from you in prior interviews. Fingers crossed for you!
Was there cross questioning or was the person just going off on their own?
It’s a question you get to answer, but think it seems it was more of a coffee chat rather than a formal interview honestly (more of a screening than a test) So wouldn’t worry about it.
Everyone has their own interviewing style--some good, some not so good. It's like cooking: some people follow recipes to the T while others wing it. There's a misquoted adage that applies here: The proof of the pudding is in the taste. I know it's easier said than done, but I wouldn't read anything into it. For all you know, you might have hit a home run because you had insightful, thoughtful questions they enjoyed. Good luck!
