Kayaking on the river. Got myself a foldable one. A little pricey, but I can bring it in my car and get on the lake in no time.
Also, hiking in the greenbelt, daytrips to Dripping Springs or Wimberley, Austin FC games, improv shows (or classes) at the Hideout theater, catch a movie at Alamo, bike rides, lots of shows at Moody’s center and theater, the Cidercade without cider, the Sherwood Forest Faire, find some friends and have a backyard bbq, join an amateur soccer or friabee team, take music classes, learn to linedance at the Broken Spoke, standup ahows at Vulcan Gas Co downtown, craft fairs like the ceramic one in Gruen, go glamping at Yurtopia, go on a desert weekend to Marfa for food and arts, go hiking in Big Bend, stay in a plane hangar in Utopia (look it up at Airbnb), take a weekend trip to the gulf, drive to Oklahoma and go gambling, get a dog and make friends at dog parks, go to the asian supermarkets and learn how to cook things you’ve never eaten, start a vinyl collection, go vintage shopping, make a friend with a balcony on a high floor and watch a thunder storm, or take a pottery class at Feats of Clay.
Hope this helps!

A little cold for kayaking right now. Get an inflatable one
Not really, this town is terribly overrated.
And where would you rather be ?
There are some wonderful walking and hiking trails. My favorite is Saint Edwards Park (which is way North). Its fairly flat and easy going. If you're brave bring water shoes to walk through the creek. Or bring waterproof boots.
