I had my HR round with HSBC on 2nd March, and the HR mentioned that she would come back within a week with confirmation on the package. When I followed up today, she said the offer is currently waiting for internal approval and that she should be able to confirm by Friday.

I wanted to check if this timeline is normal in HSBC’s hiring process and how long it usually takes for them to release the final offer letter after the HR discussion.

I applied for a job within my unit that I do not qualify for. Now, I have an interview for this job. Me knowing I do not meet most of the qualifications for this position has my imposter syndrome thinking I shouldn’t even do this interview because it would be a waste of time.
