I had some great interviews in December with a company that has a great reputation. When I followed up last week, HR told me I’m still a top candidate, but things are just moving slowly with their internal reviews. It's now been 10 days since I last heard anything. Is this kind of delay normal for the beginning of the year? I’m still looking at other jobs but I’d really prefer this one.

I just got into reading books, any suggestions to start with? Which could help to increase media/marketing knowledge.

Is it a good idea to accept LinkedIn invites from people you don't know or don't send any type of note along with their invite? I'm all for networking, but shouldn't a stranger send a note saying why they want to connect with you? (i.e. we work in the same industry and thought it might be good to connect?)

Hello everyone, I got an offer as a senior project Engineer/manager with 2 direct reports at CAD 125k+8% bonus+ 10k relocation + 7k sign on + 4k rent for a pharma mfdg. Experience 6 years design engineering + 4 years project engineering (dairy)

Is this a good offer or should I negotiate a higher base?

When they say utilization doesn't count for the month of May/June what exactly does that entail? I'm assuming being on the bench for those months will still show on personal utilization reports...

HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.
