I have 25 years of experience in the retirement sector. My focus has been retirement education for participants in employer sponsored plans. I posted for at least 4 positions this year at Principal and I keep getting rejected. Any thoughts on how to change my approach?

It's good to acknowledge that the job market lately is just awful. So it may not be your approach that's the problem, but just the difficulty of breaking through anywhere. But, if you're not getting interviews, you might want to rework your resume. They tend to be screened by automated systems these days, so keep the formatting simple. And put a summary up top so if a person sees it, you'll have a chance of grabbing their attention with your experience.

At what point are you too specialized to lateral to internal audit? (PA, consulting, or industry roles) Currently have 2 years of external audit experience and 2 years of forensics: I always thought of internal audit as a decent exit but I’m beginning to get worried about getting too specialized to make that move one day

Doing some career planning and wanted some advice. I have 4 years for project management experience in production and I just started PMing at an ad agency.

1.How long should I stay in this position before making my next move?
2. What should my next move be?! (Stay in the company and try to scale up or move on.)
3. Would getting my PMP at this point be helpful?

Any good bonuses on credit cards right now? (Jan 2022)

Already have Chase Freedom, Amazon (Chase), US Bank Cash+ Discover, AMEX, Wells Fargo 1.5%, all used for different expenditures to maximize cash back.

Thinking about getting the Wells Fargo 2% and closing the Wells Fargo 1.5%, and any others that overlap in cash back categories but at a lower rate.

What questions should senior associates be asking to get a better assessment of partnership prospects? For context, I’m eligible this year as an 8th year, but it’s more common to make it around years 10-11 at my firm (only equity partners), and I’m trying to determine whether to stick around or lateral before I’m too senior. I’m in a smaller group that historically promotes only one new partner every few years, and there are several others also eligible. Any questions I should avoid asking?
