Hey my Kewl Ppl Making Guesses (KPMG)
Are your offices reopening soon?
I am currently pursuing a position to be a 401k workplace planning consultant with Fidelity Investments. I would like to connect with someone who has gone through that training and early hiring process to make sure I have a solid understanding of the position. This is specifically for the Raleigh/Durham NC area if possible.
Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Hello there , would you like to work as a truck driver and earn 80$ / hr
Jeremy you just answered your own question .no decent company will look at you till like year 3 .so with that being said dont jump on the first thing offerefd to ya without doing research .next thing you know your roped into hauling goats back and forth across the border locked into a 3 year contract .i can tell you a couple companies to stay away from
western express - they will tell you what ever to get ya in the seat and the pay sucks from what i here .theyare often considered last chance for trucking or first chance for people who were incarcerated.
c.r. england --if you can live off of 900 bucks a week total like 28 cpm never be home and drive with other rooks like youself ,make sure your life insurance is current and bring duct tape and bailing wire
the point im trying to make is there are companies out there that are just waiting for fresh meat to take advantage of.
in closing my advice would be to find a local company that does local pick up and delivery .you need to do this to learn how to efficiantly and Safely drive a cmv locally ,get your backing skills down etc....hope this helps and good luck
CDL A Driver 1 below gives great advice. I have been recruiting and hiring drivers for 20 years, and going "over the road" is one of the most popular ways to gain the needed experience. And Schneider is one of the most safety conscious companies out there.But... there are still some opportunities for new drivers to work locally and be home every night. Try some intermodal companies if you live close enough to a port or rail yard, as container drayage is likely to be short haul and home every night. Learning the piers and rail yards can be a challenge but once you do the money is good.
Where do you live?
