No you’re not that crazy. 0% apr is fine as long as it’s long and the credit limit is high. Def Not worth the credit pull if it’s <$5k or only 12 months
Try to get a signup where there are some basic rewards + the 0% apr. for example don’t go for the chase slate
If you can’t afford to pay the balance in full as soon as it’s charged, you can’t afford the renovation. Just save your pennies for a few more months until you have enough to pay in cash.
If you want to offset that 3% fee, consider opening a card with a large sign up bonus and use the renovation to hit the minimum spend.
It’s clear OP can indeed afford this but would rather keep funds invested
