I have a manager who says I need to memorize keyboard shortcuts so I can be faster pushing this narrative that I’m not fast enough. Usually this is only called out when he insists on-screening. My hearing processes slower so it takes me a bit when on-screening. My two prior managers at my current agency never raised the problem or expectation nor have they or other teams I assist on always praised how fast and good I work.
Thoughts on how to respond? He scolded me not to defend or explain.

I currently do planning system implementation at SC level. Quite technical stuff and less PMO. What are my future career possibilities from here onwards? Can I keep progressing in the standard ladder and keep doing implementations, or is it automatically going to end up becoming more are more sales oriented and less actual implementation work? Especially interested in the SM level and above. I’d prefer staying at Big 4 and avoid the supplier side.
