Hi,
My last working day was 11th Nov and I submitted my asset to TCS location and got the Initial release letter as well. Later on 17th or 18th of Nov, I got a message from TCS that they have sent the Packing material through Vendor, please accept it.
I didn't accept the material and cancelled it when the delivery boy came to my location.
So, is it going to create any problem in getting reliving letter? Share your thought please

Anti-abortion campaign was a no for me. I also wouldn’t wont work on cigarettes/nicotine/vapes. Worked on big oil (gas and side-related projects) once. Lovely people. Trying to make a living. But you also saw they were caught up in a biz reliant on things that negatively affect us all and could only do so much.
I didn’t know it initially, but I worked at an agency where Chevron was a client, and I’ve participated in climate marches. Definitely put a damper on feeling good about my job.
I don’t work on tobacco or cigarette companies. My grandmother died of lung cancer from smoking. I lost a job opportunity at Leo because of it.
Guns don’t kill people. People with easy access to military-grade weapons who are radicalized by video games kill people.
Hopefully, their games have graphics. We’ve moved beyond text-based adventures.
I turned down the U.S. army account and Marboro. Military is a big no for me and my dad smoked cigarettes all his life. Also wouldn’t do guns or like Raytheon lol
I do… but I wouldn’t work on those accounts. I am more so meant I have interviewed for roles that were those accounts and then walked away even after an offer
Alcoholism runs in my family and I won’t touch alcohol clients.

Years ago I got recruited by the Annex at Havas. They had a really compelling sales pitch about being an agency run by and for the next generation. At the very end, they said "oh by the way, this is focused on tobacco clients, and funded by them."
So it was all about about selling cigarettes to young people. I politely but firmly cut the whole thing off and declined.
So it was even worse than I thought 👀
I was to start at a branding agency about 15 years ago and the first brief was a “industrial corporate rebrand” that turned out t be a made missile systems/arms manufacturer. I declined the job. I’d also never work for a gun manufacture as well, Rx pain meds, or certain political or media groups.
honestly yes. esp when it comes to working w people or company who are pro-gun or pro-genocide. and it’s hard. but i have mad respect to those who stands up for their values.

Not really. Probably wouldn’t do ads for Dems or Republicans, though. If you own pretty much any mutual fund, you’re financially supporting all the things you claim to hate. So what’s the point of not working in a particular vertical?
