I would be careful with Asurion. They had some massive layoffs recently and shuttered many corporate-owned repair/phone stores. Some of the products they offer aren't the best and can be confusing and frustrating for customers, affecting overall revenue and likely causing the layoffs
I haven't worked for them personally, but my partner did and I'm close with many others who worked in these stores (the repair industry is tiny haha). If the other place you have lined up pays about the same, it might be safest to go with that one for a more secure position!
go for the position with the more confident
I worked for Asurion for 5 years. I was one of the ones who got laid off when AT&T didn't renew the contract with us. One thing I can say is that I loved working for them and even though we got laid off, they took good care of us and went above and beyond to make sure the transition went smoothly. My fiance now works for them and he's had been in and out of the hospital and they are taking care of him now. One negative thing i can say is that they really like their coaching they belive in making sure that everyone gets at least 1 coaching a week to ensure that you know how you are doing and what can be improved upon. Some ppl like and some don't but other than that Ican't say anything bad about it. They were generous with pay and had really good benefits.
