I have an offer with Intel Corporation and I am expecting to join in August 2025 (last week). How is the situation there (layoffs etc.) and how is it w.r.t. APB/QPB, RSUs, etc.
On what date should I join to be eligible for appraisal and what is the cycle in Intel?

QPB you will not get due to bad condition of Intel. APB payout this time was approx 40%.

Intel is laying off many positions. More layoffs planned for this year.Its not a wise decision to join Intel as of now.

Bro hold on dont join now . Situation is really bad .join only if u r getting fired from siemens or no other option else be there...u will learn how to live with stress here ..i know somwhere deep u want to experience it and become mentor for other..this is why i am telling becuase everyone wants to experience themseleves.in alst 2 years 40 thousand ppl are out still 10-15 k gonna be out by next year...also dont go by brand..it is no more top 10 company in semiconductor...

Its not done in India or any location either. Stay wherever you’re. If you want to experience constant stress of layoffs then you’re welcome. But I don’t think so its worth joining here. No bonus payouts, lesser work life balance etc. Why anyone will be interested in such an environment?

Is negotiating offers the norm now? I’ve been at my company awhile and at the time I was hired they said they don’t do negotiations, take it or leave it and they’d offer the next person. I do believe we renegotiate now, however I’m not sure if it’s the rule, the exception, or somewhere in the middle?

Hi,. 24F YOE = 2years10months Work = DevOps and cloud (AWS) . I have two offers, both from same work. SAP Sal 11.7 fixed + 1.3 Vpay = 13LPA Airbus Sal 14.3 fixed + 2.7Vpay = 17.5 LPA and 5L joining (should be given back if early exit in 3years) Both companies have other benefits apart from CTC. Can anyone suggest which one to decide? I have some idea on SAP labs but not sure about airbus when it comes to work life balance, career growth, team. thank you and much appreciated
