I have been offered another job in a law firm. I currently have a good title but work in a small high street firm, it is a 20 minute drive from where I live and is flexible and friendly. I like working here but there is a risk the owner is going to sell to another firm and this is very likely. I have been offered a job for £17k more but the commute is 50 minutes each way two days a week. It is more corporate but similar to what I am doing now. They seem to have more training opportunities. WDID?

Forget the commute and the measly raise.

Where do you want to be in ten years. Like dream jobs. Take the role that better positions you for that.

There is an opportunity that I’m currently interviewing for that is very interesting to me. I’m interviewing two other places but I’m not responding to LinkedIn emails for other positions. The other positions don’t interest me as much. On one hand I don’t want to waste time prepping for all positions and rather put that time only for the ones that I have going on, on the other hand I feel like what is that falls through. Wondering if I’m making the right choice

Asking for my friend who is unfortunately involved bc of his parents, who are the debtors (he isn’t a defendant or a debtor in this, but the payments were made to a CC in his name—a CC he didnt know was opened in his name).

Its in Texas, and the initial BK filing was made about 23 months ago. TIA!

If you use the pomodoro method for time focus and tracking, do you bill in those increments or just keep your billablr timer going the whole time? For example, I work in 25 minute increments for large projects then I get a break. Do I bill .5 for that increment and restart my billing or keep my billing continuously going thereby not rounding up for those 5 min? I have just kept my timer going.
