I have completed L1 and L2 with capgemini and HR discussion also done on 2nd April HR offered me 15 LPA I said ok CCTC 11LPA(4YOE) but after 5 days today she said that profile rejected because of higher salary demand I said I am ok with lesser hike also she said will try again and see if approval comes so my doubt is will they really try again with lesser ask or she is simply saying? I am ready to transition my Salesmen to a base salary with commission to incentivize new hires & reward my long term guys. My industry is aftermarket auto parts. I am leaning towards a 2% commission but am flexible and just need help in figuring out salaries.

I plan on working another 10 years or so maybe less once the kids graduate college. I am this will be out in 2024. What should I be doing or thinking about?
