Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear that. Trying to find a fully remote position seems harder and harder these days. I recommend checking out Rat Race Rebellion. They usually have some full time remote work posted.
thank you!!

Have you asked your employer if they could accommodate you? This way the company does not have to start the search again nor would you have to.
There are some companies that are still having remote workers although many are having their employees return to the office either hybrid or completely in office and the other issue is that with the bad economy and job market it does not help since you are contending with thousands of unemployed workers and many soon to be laid off. Many people want to only look for remote WFH as they either do not want the commute, think WFH is easier than working in the office, and/or they just do not want to deal with physically being around others.
With your condition you might be a candidate for disability social security depending on how bad the seizures are.
I grew up having Grand Mals from fever then in my teens due to abuse, emotional stress. I took tegratol for 2 years under a neurologist care and havnt had a seizure since I was 15. Til this day, I dong do well w stress but at least I dont have anymore seizures.
I take it you have explored other options, like living a walkable distance from work? Is this work you could do from home, and ask your employer for that accomodation? Remote work is really difficult to find, so I would suggest trying to make your current job work better for you if that is a possibility.

In April of this year I will celebrate 9 years of life post heart transplant surgery. I feel your pain. My health has improved, but even with improvement I still find myself vulnerable to illness. Sadly, although I am training on "prompt proficiency", and using AI at a level that I have trained the AI machine systems to understand my thinking. The AI tools I am using are functioning as veritable collaborative partners and assistants. They are helping me develop creative ideas. AI is also helping to create tools to help me to heal physical issues that come up in my life.

Epilepsy is so hard. We had the vns therapy for our son. No more drop seizures. Plus meds. LinkedIn has a lot of remote jobs. You have to put your resume on job sites. Hope some one calls you. Maybe tell them. See if they change your position.
