I have started using Al to prep for interviews because it helps me structure my thoughts. The problem is, I do not want to walk into a room sounding like ChatGPT. How do you use Al for prep without losing your own voice?

Honestly, a few natural pauses probably do help. The human ums remind them that I am a person, not a chatbot in disguise.

I haven't actually used it yet but I have been thinking about it. My friend told me she uses it to prep and she has gotten several offers lately so it seems to be making a difference. I think you just have to take things and put your own voice into it if that makes sense.

I do the same. I use Al to organise my ideas, then I strip it back until it actually sounds like me again. The structure helps, but the delivery still needs my tone.

I'm not sure what it would mean to sound like ChatGPT, but as long as you don't come into an interview sounding scripted you should be fine. If you're using an AI tool to suggest questions, or to brainstorm answers, just make sure that what you eventually say is in your own voice.

That is exactly my worry. I use Al for clarity, but I rehearse in my own words so I do not sound like I memorised a script. The goal is confidence, not copy paste answers.

What should a coder/biller/transcriptionist make with over 15 years of experience? I am currently the only person in the office that can do those jobs with no backup. I code and bill all office visits for 5 orthopedic providers and all surgical coding/billing for 3 surgeons. I also do any transcription that is needed.
