So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. Started at my first agency 3 mo. ago. I’m doing great work on exciting clients, but I often feel uninspired and drained. Is it growing pains or is this the wrong industry for me? How will I know?

I used to care about and chase the opportunity to produce cool/fun/funny work. But, as of the last couple years..it’s just more about stability, keeping working relationships happy, building finances, i.e. it’s just a job. Not about pushing for the most fun creative ideas—I still do that—I just don’t care enough to fight as much if they don’t get it. Definitely still feel genuinely defeated when truly awesome concepts get glossed over by a client who has no clue what they want.
