Yes, I do. Kids need to learn what is funny and what is serious
Chief
I have a talk with my students often about how words have impact and hold weight. Anyone can say "I didn't mean it", but it does not take away the impact of what was said.
Absolutely. There isn't anything funny about making these threats. If nothing else, I hope these stories will make kids realize how serious they are and dissuade them from doing the same.

Our kids were devastated and terrified when we had threats made a few weeks ago. It is never funny to joke about harming others or oneself.
Absolutely. Any threat, no matter how it's presented, should be taken seriously.

I totally agree. "Some jokes are not funny, and it never funny to joke about somethings" -Me

I think every threat needs to be taken serious. Just because someone says they are joking does not mean, they are not having thoughts to bring harm to others.
Absolutely! They need to learn to be accountable for their actions! Might be good to learn this at a young age before they’re in jail!
