That was on September 9th. I sent a thank you followup email the next day with letters of recommendation like I had mentioned in our conversation. White male, 3.6 GPA at top public school (like UVA), 700 GMAT, 3.5 years work experience (2y in big 4 MC, 1.5y in corp dev), letter of rec from HBS grad CFO of my company.

Is it viewed as “not good” to go back to my alma mater for MBA? It’s a top 40 business school and got me into B4 consulting easily. School has strong recruiting presence in the region I want and I have a full ride for their FT program. Appreciate any thoughts!

Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).
