I accepted a job offer in April to start a few months from now, post clerkship. All conflicts/background check went smoothly etc. Since accepting my offer, the firm has increased their 1st year pay across the board to be higher than my offer was (which was, at the time, what 2nd yeas got). When should I reach out to the recruitment attorney leading up to my start date? Or should I? (Haven't spoken since May) Should I bring up the salary or just assume its higher?

Can anyone give me honest feedback on what being a copywriter is like at FCB Health NY? I have an interview but looking on here all I see is *really* negative feedback, so I’m very apprehensive. I need to turn in a two week notice, but my boss has a week of PTO scheduled (one of many weeks this summer). He still “checks in” via email and IM while on leave. Is it unacceptable to turn in a notice while he’s technically on PTO, even if he’s still checking in periodically?

Busy season ends at the end of March they said. You get normal hours after that they said. Did they conveniently forget to leave out the 3/31s and 6/31s?

They tell us not to eat time but then say if we go over the minimum hours that work will have to be reallocated...why don’t the higher ups understand that there is no one to reallocate the work to...

My utilization is 90% but all of my clients are small jobs. Does that look worse than someone who works on the larger, higher revenue generating jobs with all else equal (utilization/performance)?
