I joined CG on Nov 10th and joined project on Nov 14th. It was new project to CG so documentation was going on. My skill set was SAP IBP. In Jan month, manager told there is no scope for sap IBP in this project and you will be released. We were 4 in a team. On Feb 10th, they released us. Till now no project calls. Currently in bench. How will be the scenario now? Heard many things about bench policy and less projects in CG. My level is B2 and package is 14LPA. 5 years experience. Capgemini

Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

Had a very unpleasant experience with the entire interview process at Paytm. First of all they kept all three rounds in a single day . It started from the morning and ended up till the final round at late evenings. After all the rounds were cleared, the HR asked for the expected package, and when I gave him my quote which was just 35% more than my current CTC, he got reluctant and said we only have a budget of an X amount which was just 10% more than my current CTC. Who on earth does that..?
