I just drove 130 miles round trip for a job interview; after getting there and sitting down with the hiring manager, I find out the restaurant i am applying for is not opening until January 2026, so why wasn't this in there Indeed ad. I would have never made that drive for a job 9 months out. What a waste of my time.

I now only make 0.50 cents more than even the lowest paid shift lead but I am doing a lot more work. I'm no longer satisfied with these conditions.
