4% more than my current pay but 23% more than my starting pay.
I had this happen. VP 1 is right, new hire rates are higher than existing employees. I had to get another offer to negotiate my pay. And even then I still made 5% less than my male counter part.
New hires almost always make more than current employees. That’s nothing new. You should apply for new jobs. Then you will be the new higher paid employee at that company
