I'm a fresh grad and I just started a new job in a small consulting firm and I'm having trouble keeping up.

They don't have a structured training programme, and every time they give me a task, I'm always grappling in the dark. I find myself always reaching out to different people for help and I don't feel like I'm learning anything. Does it get better?

AOA everyone! I am a Pakistani currently living in Germany. I am in the final stages of getting a transfer to Canada but can’t decide between Toronto or Vancouver. I find literally everybody I meet, I look up their backgrounds and judge them / compare myself. I think this is a problem.

Are puns always bad? I like them as cheat codes for making boring things slightly more entertaining. I don’t want to spend hours thinking for a line for a social post we are just doing to fill up a content calendar

What do you do for winter shoes and commuting?

I walk a total ~20 mins in between train/bus stations and then getting from the stop in the loop to the office.

What do I do come wintertime for boots? Do you wear them while you're in the office? Or do you bring dress shoes with you to change in to? I wear a suit to work, so what boots would be good for winter but also look decent with a suit? This is my first winter in Chicago (a socal transplant)

What’s the most effective way for producers to network for new job opportunities?

Wavering between tired and happy. Finally getting my stamina back post covid. I've walked 10 miles in the past week. Pre covid I was walking between 2 and 4 miles a day. But I can tell I'm still not 100 percent. I'm so tired in the evenings. Hopefully that will fade the next couple of weeks.

I did and it's killing me because now I'm working till 2 am, but its not showing on paper. I o ly show 8 or 9 hours. But, I would rather not get yelled at from the client or director for going over budget. The budget is super tight, like 1.5 hours per workpaper and my associate already uses all of it. So nothing is left for review. Why do partners do this to us?

I’m 23 and independent. Working full time and studying full time is taking a serious toll on my mental health. I’m always tired, unmotivated, depressed, sometimes angry at my life, and I don’t know what to do. I’m in my sophomore year. I also don’t work in the field that I’m studying (computer science) because I’m always rejected without an interview, which is another aggravating factor for me. It’s hard to have time to work on personal projects to make my portfolio more attractive.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?
