Love the ambition, but there's nothing wrong with an admin job. It's very important for almost any kind of organisation. So be happy you have the job! That said, in the admin world, you could totally aim for Senior Admin or even Executive Assistant, which means handling bigger stuff for higher-ups and maybe even leading the admin team. Then there's Office Manager, where you'd be running the whole office shebang, making sure everything's smooth. Depending on what the company does, you could also niche down into something like HR Assistant, Marketing Assistant, or even a Project Assistant, using those awesome organizational skills in a specific area. Honestly, your admin skills are like a superpower that can open doors to other departments too, like project management or operations, once you've got your foot in.
Admin roles can be a great launchpad. You can look into project coordination, operations, or even EA roles that involve more strategy. If your work's done early, use the downtime to learn new tools or network.
If you really want more, I’d talk to whoever is around about learning more or taking on more responsibilities. There are different options out there. I’d also take into consideration that one title at one place may be a totally different set up and set of things at another.
You can actually do better, more win to you, please connect me to any remote job, thank you
