From first hand experience I found this to be normal. I started feeling confident in my role a year and a half in. Asking questions is not frowned upon if you have a supportive team/supervisor. Asking questions should be encouraged!

You got confident pretty fast! Took me years to
Don't hesitate to ask questions. It's far better to ask a question about something than to spend time going down the wrong path, or to screw something up completely. It takes a while to feel comfortable with any job, and it's not a bad thing to feel a little shaky. Better that than arrogance. If you put forth your best effort you'll be surprised at how quickly you start to feel confident.

I feel you 🤍 mannnnnnn the imposter syndrome just left and I worked as a junior designer, designer then jr art director, currently mid level and ready for senior level. It takes time to build confidence and lots of reps….. millions of edits … keep on going. Ask questions. Find a mentor.
Ps I love student life as well and encourage you to keep learning. I’m still taking online courses and watch tutorials every other day to stay sharp.
