I keep getting assigned big projects on tight deadlines. I flag my concerns to management but am told this is a really exciting opportunity. Honestly, I agree that it is, however, I am working a few hours on the weekend to make deadline. I didn’t flag this. My boss asked me why I worked on the weekend and I explained that the deadline is tight. The boss’s reaction was almost appalled as though I’m overreacting to the workload and it’s not necessary. Am I in the wrong?

Out of personal experience ,I can see that during compensation discussion HR person tries to convince a women candidate for a lesser package . Now this could also be the case where it is much easier to convince women to take up the job for lesser salary.
Whereas the male team member gets paid high (same YOE , same number of switch , similar prev CTC) though women are equally or more talented sometimes.
