Global warming coming to bite us all in the behind :( The time to act and do something about it was about 20-10 years ago, I fear it's too late now.

Given that no one seems to taking any action, I think you're right :/ Wild how governments still care more about protecting the pockets of billionaires than the planet.

I see something like another pandemic taking over the world, I thought I would never experience something like this, but now after living it I feel like I can live it again at any time.

Even though we have world war trumpets right now I doubt we will have that problem right now, but 30 years from now a world war for the right to any drinking water left in the world is very possible.

Despite being very fatalistic, I feel that the things that happened recently and those that are happening right now will open the eyes of many of us, in 2050 it is time to work to save our world and I am not only talking about environmental pollution, yes. not from social pollution.

2050 "Stormy marries famous basketball player"

Hopefully, we still have a world by the year 2050, the natural disasters that we experienced last year were only a glimpse of what is to come, that is, we are at the gates of a disaster thanks to the greenhouse effect for not having taken care of our planet properly.

"Morgan Freeman celebrates his 113th birthday" "Floridians displaced by rising sea levels are told to "go back to where they came from" while seeking refugee status" and "Minimum wage has dropped again as the list of trillionaires continues to grow." Perhaps I need a bit more hope for our future?

I read yesterday that emperor penguins are now an endangered species. I reckon by 2050, they won't exist, and neither will a lot of species that we've known forever.

"Greta warned us 30 years ago"

I don don’t know what headlines we will see, but I know it will be AI writing them. Corporate owned AI.

What is a typical exit opportunity for a Director in FDD? I’m over the stress, but I feel like the monotony of industry will equally stress me out. I have only done FDD my whole career so the PE exit route is likely not going to happen (I’m realistic 🙂)

What’s the appropriate pay for a Video Prodcuer/ editor (for web) in London? I think I’m being underpaid. I have a BA(Hons) in Film & TV and a MA in Television Journalism. I’ve been working at the same company for 4 years and was promoted 3 years ago. I was told to ‘prove myself’ when I asked about the compensation, then the pandemic put a stop to any raises. I asked again a bit more than a year ago and they gave me a little bump because some left. I’m currently at £31k. The company keeps hiring

I just bought an Alexa for my grandma's birthday. Her old radio broke and she's been kind of sad because she can't listen to her favorite music anymore while cooking, so I thought this would be a good pick. She'll have her favorite music right there.
