Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

The truth is incredibly important in our line of work. I think I would struggle to not call it out. Especially if it was about important things, and not just little nonsense.

Agreed. If it's critical I'm going to put up a stink about the lies but if not I just try to avoid them when I can.

That’s such an awkward position to be in. I’ve found that directly calling someone a liar usually just makes things worse. Instead, What typically worked for me in the past was asking calm follow-up questions or say, “Hmm, I remember that a little differently,” and stick to the facts. If it’s harmless, I might let it go. But if it impacts work or trust, I think it’s worth addressing in a steady, low-drama way.

Great way to handle it! Thank you I'll have to try that.
