I made a Roth IRA cont in 2024. I was over income so had to remove excess cont of $5k in April 2025 before filing my 2024 tax return. My 2024 return shows 40 bucks excess cont. I got a 1099-R for 2025 relating to that excess cont & theres a small amount for earnings on that. Traditional IRA bal at end of 2025 was only $6.
Do I file an amended tax return for 2024 with correct excess cont or is it ok to report the excess of $5k in my 2025 tax return as the 1099-R is dated 2025? Any considerations?

Hi all, I’m in the north east metro area and due to the current RE market we decided to look into PA specifically Lancaster. Anyone in this market and have any thoughts on where it’s headed? We’re looking purchasing a single family property all cash at 110k that rents for $1100 a month. The last owner bought for 35k like 15 years ago 😩 but hoping buying and holding for a few years will give a equal or greater returns over the long run.

Working for a senior who is beyond horrible. She talks to you like you’re stupid and makes it sound like you’re absolutely terrible at what you’re doing. She’s made 5 other associates cry during her 5 year career. Got someone fired and made another person quit. It’s known around the office that she can no longer have a female associate, because she talks down to females more than she does males. I came along and thought I could deal with it but she literally makes me want to not log on tomorrow.

Busy season never seems to end. Question, am I burned out or is this normal? I was very stressed during busy season until now. I sort of feel a calm sense of not caring anymore. We have extended our busy season until 5/15, but I really just don’t feel like I care...
