Hi Nagarrians, it's been 45 days now since I joined Nagarro I was assigned a team at the time of joining but since then I am waiting for interview to take place. Is this normal procedure? Although from day 2 my project manager asked me to fill the timesheet corresponding to one project which is no billable. I am having concerns now as I don't know if this is normal ?

I’m looking for advice on this too. I’ve been out 15+ years, have a ton of litigation experience, which includes a lot of employment lit work. I’m not having luck getting interviews (pre-corona lockdown). I’d love any advice on what I should be doing.
I just accepted a job in the L&E field! I’m in my 7th year with most of my experience being in insurance defense and commercial lit. I’ve done a small amount of L&E work over the years but not very much. I suggest joining L&E groups (I joined the section of my local bar association and the section of the DRI). Take as many CLEs as you can. I’ve been reading L&E news and writing about things I find interesting in a legal blog which I then share on social media, including LinkedIn. You can also look for pro bono opportunities in L&E work to get more experience. If you know any L&E attorneys in your area, reach out to them to see how they got into that work and if they have any other suggestions for you.
When you apply make sure to highlight in your cover letter that you want to transition into that field and what steps you’re taking to build up your network and experience.

Why employment?
Lol alright cool.
My family owns a business that is rapidly growing and eventually would like to be able to advise them... maybe be in house one day.
Def throw that in there. Also now is a great time to do employment specific CLEs. They are in huge demand in the current climate.
If it helps I transitioned from Probate (wills and trusts) to employment lit and my top grades were in tax and estate planning.. haha.
I think it’s an easy field to jump into. Best of luck!
